Launch of Age-Friendly Ocean County's Inaugural Multisector Plan For Aging

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — The Ocean County Board of Commissioners, Ocean County Office of Senior Services, and Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Ocean County will officially launch Age-Friendly Ocean County's Inaugural Multisector Plan for Aging (2026–2030) on June 23, 2026, marking a historic milestone for both Ocean County and the State of New Jersey. The plan is New Jersey's first county-level Multisector Plan for Aging and establishes a comprehensive roadmap for supporting older adults, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and families through coordinated cross-sector action.

This facilitated program includes lunch, but registration is required by June 18 to attend.
