Children’s Valentine Program
Friday, February 3 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The free Children’s Valentine program will spread love and happiness to children affected by cancer. Kids can come together to have fun and make friends in the compassionate environment provided by the Cancer Support Community, located at 199 Prospect Street in Lakewood. This free, professionally-run support group provides a safe place for individuals dealing with any type of cancer. Cancer Support Community located at 199 Prospect Street in Lakewood. Registration is required by calling 732-923-6090.
Gentle Yoga
Mondays, February 6, 13, 20 & 27 from 2 to 3 p.m.
Gentle yoga classes for men and women of all ages who are affected by cancer will be offered. Appropriate for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners, these gentle yoga classes will help participants learn how to increase flexibility, range of motion, energy and relaxation. Cancer Support Community located at 199 Prospect Street in Lakewood. Registration is required by calling 732-923-6090. Medical clearance is required for those currently undergoing active cancer treatments.
Exercise for Strength
Mondays, February 6, 13, 20 & 27 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.

Relaxation and Guided Imagery

Circle of Caring
Fridays, February 10 & 17 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Seva Acupressure for Stress Release
Wednesday, February 15 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Learn how to manage stress and boost resilience through easy to use acupressure program for self-care. This professionally run program will take place at the Cancer Support Community, 199 Prospect Street in Lakewood. Registration is required by calling 732-923-6090.
Bingo Blast
Friday, February 17 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Look Good Feel Better
Monday, February 27 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
“Look Good…Feel Better” is a national public service program that is designed to help female cancer patients improve their self-image. Each patient in this interactive program receives hands-on beauty techniques to manage side effects chemotherapy and radiation treatments can cause to their appearance. The meeting, offered by Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus and the Cancer Support Community, will be held at the Center for Healthy Living located at 199 Prospect Street in Lakewood.
