The Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Presents a Children’s Flowers Program

Kids can participate in flower crafts, plant flower seeds and share their feelings in the compassionate environment provided by the CSC.

In celebration of spring and May flowers, the Cancer Support Community (CSC) at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, is offering a Flowers Program to children affected by cancer.

Through this free program, kids can participate in flower crafts, plant flower seeds and share their feelings in the compassionate environment provided by the CSC.

The Flower Program will take place on Friday, May 12 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Cancer Support Community, located at 199 Prospect Street in Lakewood. Registration is required by calling the Cancer Support Community at 732-923-6090.

The Cancer Support Community (CSC) offers supportive programs, education, and hope for individuals affected by a cancer diagnosis, no matter where treatment is received. Monthly programs include relaxation and guided imagery, yoga, mindfulness meditation, exercise for strength, support groups and much more.
