Cancer Support Groups, Programs and Services Offered at Community Medical Center

Community Medical Center offers support groups & programs for individuals diagnosed with cancer.

TOMS RIVER, NEW JERSEY – The J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center at Community Medical Center is dedicated to helping individuals diagnosed with cancer achieve the title of ‘survivor’.

Healing occurs on the physical level, as well as the mental, emotional, and spiritual level. With this in mind, the J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center at Community Medical Center approaches cancer treatment with a multidisciplinary team that cares for the physical and psychosocial needs of patients and their families, offering support groups and services.

Several of these programs or services take place in the Inspiration Boutique, a spa-like environment for individuals with cancer located within the J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center at Community Medical Center. The Inspiration Boutique was made possible by generous funding from the American Cancer Society through a grant from the Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation.
