Casino Night Set For Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Ocean County

The event, held in partnership with the Toms River Police Foundation and assists its mentoring programs.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County will be holding their 10th Annual Casino Night next Friday, Sept. 8, with the support of the Toms River Police Foundation.

The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, 2 Augusta Boulevard, Lakewood. Guests enjoy blackjack, craps, roulette and poker. The Toms River Police Foundation is a major sponsor of the event.

"This will be a fun-filled night of gaming, music, food, a 50/50 raffle and a large gift auction," organizers said.

Tickets are $75 per person and include $100 in playing chips, a buffet dinner, beverages, coffee, dessert and there will be a cash bar. There are several sponsorship opportunities still available to promote your business. Sponsorships range from $150 to $3,000. Most sponsorships come with complimentary entrance tickets to the event.

“We are really looking forward to our Annual Casino Night," said Sue Sedivec, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County. "Money raised from this event will help us to continue to provide life-changing mentoring programs to the children in Ocean County."

The one-to-one mentoring helps to a foundation for the future of the children who participate and helps the community as well.

"The new partnership with the Toms River Police Department is allowing us to expand our program opportunities for local children," she said.
