Church Adding Sunday Night 6PM Summer Mass
Good Shepherd American National Catholic Church Responds to Increasing Numbers
Perhaps it should be called "A Last Chance Mass," or others in Ocean County may say it's well needed. Good Shepherd American National Catholic Church's population is growing and a need for a 6PM Summer Sunday evening Mass is a great addition! The Mass will continue on Sunday Nights from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The Church is located on the corner of Whitesville Road and Riverwood Drive. Since it's move to Toms River, the Church has had three Masses every Weekend (5Pm Sat, 8 & 10 AM Sunday) and the number of families joining has been speedily occurring. It's Pastor, Father Anthony Lipari, FCM (a Friar of the Franciscan Community of Mercy) together with Associate Pastor Fr. Miguel Fernandez are presently providing for all the Masses each weekend.
This Church is an American Catholic Church whose main purposes is to reach out to alienated or fallen-away Catholics; and welcome Divorcees or Members of the LGBT Community to enrich their spiritual lives in a church with judgements and rules left outside of this all inclusive Catholic parish. Many are now considering this all-welcoming, vibrant, and progressive church that celebrates the rituals and beliefs of Vatican II. Father Anthony encourages all to stop by or call. For information contact Father Anthony at www.goodshepherdancc.org or call 732-279-6837.
