On Sunday, October 20th at 2pm, Rabbi Jan from Beth Zion Messianic Synagogue in Jackson, and a former member of the internationally known musical group Kol Simcha, will share his unique musical storytelling. Rabbi Jan’s music is a prophetic devotional call-to-action through heart-oriented storytelling conveying an uplifting redemptive message of unconditional love!
On Monday, October 21st at 7pm, author P.A. Chawla introduces her debut novel, an absorbing collection of interlocking stories that examine romantic, marital and other relationships which also provide a vivid glimpse into Indian culture - the longing for assimilation and the turmoil and challenges that shape immigrant lives. The book discussion will be followed with a Q&A session. Copies of this book will be available for purchase.
On Tuesday, October 22nd at 7pm, watch a colorful, eye-opening documentary titled “The Muslims I Know”, which explores the lives of moderate Muslims in the United States. Discussion to follow film, moderated by the Islamic Center of Ocean County.
