Police: Thank You For Identifying Couple In Coupon Fraud Case

The pair accused of hundreds of dollars' worth of coupon fraud in Brick and Toms River were identified late Monday, police say.

UPDATE: Brick Township police issued the following statement on Facebook Monday evening: “Thank you from the Brick Police Police Department and Toms River Police Department for help in identifying the subjects we posted earlier. We will update you as the investigation continues.”

Police from Brick Township and Toms River are seeking the public’s help in identifying a couple who they say engaged in coupon fraud at the Stop and Shop grocery stores in both towns.

Brick Township Sgt. Neal Pedersen said photos from surveillance footage show the pair authorities are trying to locate.

Pedersen said the pair are costing the retail establishments hundreds of dollars per transaction.
