Enter Your Costumed Pet Pals In Toms River Halloween Parade

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you like to dress your furry friends up for Halloween, the organizers of the Toms River Halloween Parade are urging you to bring them and join in the parade fun.

Parade chairman Matt Duell issued a reminder on Thursday, saying the parade has two newer divisions for people to enter their furry pals, be they canine, feline or reptillian.

You just have to keep them on a leash.

Paradegoers and motorists are reminded that Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 5:45 p.m. Monday, so plan accordingly. Washington Street will be closed as well.

Registration for the parade begins at 8 a.m. Monday and goes through 5 p.m. and is held at the firehouse on Robbins Street in Toms River.
