Ex-MLB Player Jeff Frazier Joins Local Dancing With Stars Event
The Toms River star will participate in "Dancing With Our Monmouth And Ocean County Stars" to support the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.
He can teach some baseball ... but can he dance?
That will be the question to be settled when Toms River resident and former Major League Baseball player Jeff Frazier takes to the dance floor as part of the “Dancing With Our Stars” event hosted by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.
The event will be held Thursday, Nov. 12 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Eagle Oaks Country Club, Farmingdale, to help raise funds to support the region’s Girl Scout troops.

Sue Moll and Shawn Michaels from WOBM will emcee the evening as a remarkable lineup of eight stars from Monmouth and Ocean counties perform ballroom and Latin dances such as the tango, hustle, salsa, swing and Cha-cha. With weeks of specialized training at Shall We Dance Ballroom Studio in Toms River, our stars will leave it all on the dance floor to take home the trophy!
Jeff Frazier, the older brother of 2015 Home Run Derby winner Todd Frazier, played for the Detroit Tigers before leaving baseball to teach and coach with Charlie, the oldest of the Frazier brothers.

The Man Enough To Be a Girl Scout campaign exists as an effort to involve more fathers and business leaders in the lives of all girls, especially Girl Scouts. While all fathers and business leaders privately support girls and the idea they can become anything, public involvement in making that ideal a reality lags far behind the support boys receive while participating in similar activities. Man Enough members are more than 100 strong, hosting a variety of events year round. To become a member and join the fun visit IAmManEnough.com.
Tickets for Dancing With Our Monmouth & Ocean County Stars are $75 per person. There is also an array of sponsorship and virtual ad journal opportunities available. Visit girlscoutsjs.org/dance to vote for your favorite star and purchase tickets and/or ads and sponsorships.
