Football: Toms River East Falls to Brick Memorial
The Raiders get a break from Class A South next week
Toms River East had yet another brutal assignment this week: the Brick Memorial Mustangs.
Unfortunately, the Mustangs were too much for the winless Raiders, and rolled to a 27-7 victory in a Shore Conference Class A South football game on Friday night, according to the Shore Sports Network.
The Raiders (0-4, 0-4), who were without running back Jeff Wood, got on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter, when Dylan Savulich threw a 33-yard pass to Dan Gilligan.

Toms River East hosts Freehold Township (1-3) next Friday at 7 p.m.
