Free Library Classes for Job Seekers Continue

Whether it's navigating online job applications, mastering email skills or gaining confidence in Microsoft Word, an Ocean County library program is focusing on individuals who are looking for employment but who need help with computer proficiency.

It's called "Computer Skills for Job Seekers" and the free classes are focused on individual topics, such as "Internet Explorer for Job Seekers."

There's a class today at the , but the classes continue throughout the month.

In addition to the Toms River branch, the Jackson and Lakewood Library branches are also offering classes.

The schedule for January classes at the three branches is as follows:

Wed., Jan. 18; 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Toms River branch, Basic Windows and Internet Explorer for Job Seekers

Thurs., Jan. 19; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Jackson branch, Basic Windows and Internet Explorer for Job Seekers

Fri., Jan. 20; 1 – 5 p.m. in the Jackson branch, Basic Email and Word for Job Seekers

Sat., Jan. 21; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Toms River branch, Basic Email and Word for Job Seekers

Mon., Jan. 23; 6 – 8 p.m. in the Lakewood branch, Using the Internet for Job Seekers

Tues., Jan. 24; 6 – 8 p.m. in the Lakewood branch, Using EMail for Job Seekers

Wed., Jan. 25; 1 – 5 p.m. in the Jackson branch, Using the Internet for Job Seekers

Thurs., Jan. 26; 1 – 5 p.m. in the Toms River branch, Basic Email and Word for Job Seekers

Fri., Jan. 27; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Lakewood branch, Basic Word & Email (in Spanish) for Job Seekers

Sat., Jan. 28; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Toms River branch, Using the Internet for Job Seekers
