Friends of the Library to Hold Book Sale at Toms River Branch
Special "Pop-Up" sale to be held March 9th and 10th
Here’s some very good news for readers and book lovers! The Friends of the Ocean County Library – Toms River will be holding a “Pop-Up" Book Sale in Mancini Hall at the Toms River branch on Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10. The sale will be from 11:00am to 4:00pm on Friday, and from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday. All proceeds from the sale will benefit library programs held at the Toms River branch throughout the year.
There will be something for everyone at this sale, as the Friends’ volunteers have been working very hard to put together a fine selection of books in all genres and reading levels. The variety of books ranges from early reader children’s books to youth and young adult, to adult fiction and nonfiction. There is an excellent collection of cookbooks, craft books, biographies, classics, fine literature, and books related to history, sports, travel, art, and science. As always, the Friends have gathered a large assortment of the most popular contemporary writers of fiction, mystery, and thrillers.
This is your opportunity to stock up on favorite titles for the remainder of winter, or to get a jump start on your summer reading collection—and let’s not forget that books make the perfect gift for almost everyone on your list and are very affordably priced.
