Getting Medicare Insurance Without a Bias
By William O'Hara - Owner at NJ Life and Health Insurance Group

With all the mail, robo-calls, and TV commercials, the decision of what Medicare insurance to enroll in can seem daunting. Making matters more complex, the avenues through which you can enroll in a plan are not all equal. An important distinction must be made between agents and brokers.
Insurance agents are employed by the insurance company, and are usually restricted to a single insurance carrier's plans when showing you the options available. Alternatively, insurance brokers are employed by an insurance brokerage and are contracted to work with many if not all insurance companies offering plans. By working with many insurance carriers, brokers are able to provide guidance and options without a bias.
The decision of how to supplement your Medicare insurance is one that may affect your health benefits for the rest of your life so make sure you know all the options available to you before making that decision.
