The Hawk's Ocean Of Love Radiothon Takes Up Its Toms River Perch

The annual event raises funds that help assist local families who have a child battling cancer.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — It's that time of year again: there's a Hawk's nest in the parking lot at Target, and the only way to remove it is by donating to Ocean of Love.

The annual Ocean of Love radiothon held by 105.7 The Hawk kicked off Tuesday at the Target shopping center parking lot on Hooper Avenue. The goal is to raise $105,700 for the charity that assists local children with cancer and their families, and DJ Andy Chase has taken up the perch on the billboard until that goal is reached.

Ocean of Love is an Ocean County-based organization that assists families with financial support, from assisting with hospital bills and gas money to support for bereavement groups.
