"At HOPE Sheds Light, we are committed to providing friends, families and our community with an understanding on the disease of addiction, including the most prevalent types related to Heroin, Opiates and Prescription drug Education and helping them understand that they are not alone," the organization says on its website. "We want our children, parents and the entire community to know the dangers of substance abuse and heroin use and how continued use can ultimately take young lives. Our goal is to create awareness and be a gateway to ALL agencies that provide support."

HOPE Sheds Light was started after the Rosetto family lost their son Marc to a hard-fought battle against substance abuse and heroin experimentation in 2012, to ensure that other families find the help they need to help those battling addiction.
