Human Trafficking is a Serious Problem in New Jersey, including Ocean County

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others. It is also considered to be one of the fastest growing criminal industries in the world.

Toms River branch of the Ocean County Library will present "Human Trafficking 101" on Monday, October 23 at 6:30 pm. Hear about the harsh reality of human trafficking, including child sex trafficking, which occurs in every county in NJ., including Ocean County. The Dream Catcher Group will discuss the realities of human trafficking, prevention, and reducing demand. Sponsored by the Ocean County Dept. of Human Services.
