Hurricane Matthew Relief Fund

Donations for those affected by Hurricane Matthew in North Carolina; paying it forward from Super Storm Sandy October 2016

As the 4th anniversary of Super Storm Sandy approaches, many of us in the community are still suffering, recovering, and rebuilding from the impacts of this. Immediately after the storm, SVFC received an overwhelming inflow of assistance from individuals and organizations across the country for weeks. We hold a special place in our hearts for all who provided support from near and far to our small community of Silverton, NJ.

Public Safety helping Public Safety - no matter what State, we are all family!!!

Silverton Vol. Fire Company is asking for donations to help families in North Carolina that have been impacted by Hurricane Mathew. The members of SVFC have organized a donation process to reciprocate the support Silverton received following Super Storm Sandy. This disaster has created a desperate need for supplies. We will be providing immediate support to families in N.C. All donations will be used to provide gift cards and supplies to those in need along with providing resources for members delivering donations to N.C. You can sponsor a bucket of cleaning supplies or a blanket with a $10.00 donation. Please feel free to write a personal message or attach a teddy bear to those you are helping. If you would like your organization, group, or department name added to our donation letter, please mark this on your check or personal message.
