Indivisible Hosted Documentary & Discussion

Free Screening of Alt-Right: Age of Rage with Star of Show

Indivisible NJ 3rd District hosted a documentary & discussion event Saturday, November 23 in Toms River. The documentary "Alt-Right: Age of Rage" was shown. Daryle Jenkins, founder of One People’s Project and one of the subjects of the film, was on hand to talk about the issues.

The discussion focused on what has happened on a national level since Charlottesville (where the documentary ended) and the local climate. Since the documentary many of the groups highlighted have undergone name changes and there has been the rise of the Proud Boys. Jenkins spoke in more detail about a group that meets in Tennessee.

While Jenkins says most of his New Jersey Nazis are found in Ocean County, we can take hope in the recent push that stopped anti-Muslim Toms River board of education member, Dan Leonard, from standing for re-election.

Indivisible NJ 3rd District is a nonprofit 501(c)4 organization. Information about the group can be found on Facebook at Indivisible NJ 3rd District.
