Island Heights' New Farmers Market Opens Today
The market will be open until 7 p.m. every Monday into September.

ISLAND HEIGHTS, NJ — Love buying fresh produce but hate having to drive to downtown Toms River or to another town to get it? Now you don't any longer, because starting today, July 10, Island Heights is hosting its own farmers market.
The Island Heights Farmers Market will be held at the Wanamaker Municipal Complex, at the corner of East End and Westray Avenue, every Monday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., through Sept. 25, according to a news release from Councilwoman Melissa Wudzki.
The family-friendly market showcases local growers, as well as local food vendors. Produce will include everything from Jersey corn to broccoli rabe to blueberries. The non-produce items will include specialty olive oils, seafood cakes and baked goods.
