Lemonade Day to Benefit Caregiver Canines

Lemonade stand set up by young entrepreneur to benefit Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey's Canine program

Looking for a way to give back this weekend, that also gets you a refreshing drink of lemonade? It's Lemonade day this Saturday July 9th. Lemonade Day is a fun learning experience that teaches the youth in Toms River how to build a business plan and make money with their own lemonade stand. They are asked to come up with ways to spend, save and share their profits.

Gavin is a young entrepreneur who picked Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey as his charity that he'd like to share his profits with. He liked that Caregiver Canines helps the elderly by visiting them with therapy dogs.

So come on out on Saturday to the Ocean County Mall main entrance from 11am to 3pm to get some of Gavin's Lemonade. There will also be therapy dogs from Caregiver Canines to help support Gavin! This year, they've added a chance to win $10,000 with the Engage Toms River Lemonade Day Video Business Plan Challenge.
