District 10 State Senate candidate Emma Mammano named a 2017 Champion
I’m excited to share some big news. I’ve been named a 2017 Champion by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, which honors candidates across the country who are fighting for progressive priorities and looking out for the needs of everyday families.
Our campaign has real momentum, and we’re being recognized for our commitment to running a grassroots, people-powered campaign — and one with a bold progressive vision.

The Progressive Change Campaign Committee is building power state by state, helping candidates like me run smart campaigns driven by grassroots supporters. They know that it’s important for progressives to take power, so we can turn our ideas into action.
But before we can change anything, I need to get elected. For a campaign like mine, money isn’t what wins elections (although it certainly doesn’t hurt!) It’s the personal connections at the door or on the phone that will bring voters out on Election Day.
