Man Wanted In NJ Killed 3 People In Shooting Spree, Police Say
The NJ native shot five people, killing three, police said.

A man who was wanted in New Jersey for other crimes has been charged in connection with three murders this week, according to police.
Luis Perez, a New Jersey native, was charged Tuesday in connection with the homicides of Aaron “Joshua” Hampton, Steven Marler and Sabrina Starr in Springfield, Mo. Two others, Aaron D. Anderson, and Dalia Garcia, also have been charged, police said.
On Nov. 1, four shooting victims were located by Springfield Police at 906 East Locust in Springfield, Mo. Hampton and Marler were two of the victims at that location and died from their injuries, police said.

Two other individuals at that location suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were hospitalized with serious physical injuries requiring surgery, police said.
On Saturday, Springfield Police were dispatched to 2146 N. Oakland, where Sabrina Starr was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

Perez had active warrants for undisclosed crimes in New Jersey and recently moved to Springfield, police said.
In connection with these events, Perez, whose hometown was unknown at press time, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder for shooting Hampton, Marler, and Starr. He is also charged with two counts of first-degree assault for shooting the other two victims at the East Locust site, causing them serious physical injury police said.
Perez is also charged with five counts of armed criminal action and one count of tampering with physical evidence for destroying evidence associated with one or more of the homicides. Perez is being held in the Greene County Jail without bond.
Anderson has been charged with murder in the shooting deaths of Hampton and Marler. Anderson is being held in the Greene County Jail without bond. Garcia has been charged with one count of tampering with physical evidence for destroying evidence associated with one or more of the homicides. She is being held in the Greene County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
