Missing Beachwood Woman Safe, Family Says

A woman who had not been heard from for five days has contacted police, the family says.

BEACHWOOD, NJ — A Beachwood woman whose family had not heard from her since Friday has been found safe, family members said Thursday.

Toni Giordano, 31, had not contacted family since Friday, Aug. 2, and her sister, Gina, was searching for any leads to her whereabouts, Gina said in posts on Facebook Tuesday and Wednesday.

"PLEASE if anyone knows anything on where she is please just tell me," Gina wrote.

On Thursday, Gina's prayers were answered when Toms River police contacted her to say they had been in touch with Toni and that she was safe.
