Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation Board of Trustees Names Two New Board Members

Mary Clarke and Michael Kokes have been named to the Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation Board of Trustees

Mary Clarke, a health care marketing executive, and Michael Kokes, a real estate developer, have been named to the Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation Board of Trustees.

Clarke, of Brick, has nearly 20 years of marketing experience with health care organizations, hospitals and nonprofits. She serves as Director of Marketing Operations for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospitals of Toms River where she is responsible for hospital inpatient volume through the development and implementation of effective business strategies and market analysis. Earlier in her career she served as Director of Community Relations for a hospital and held development positions with a hospital foundation and a nonprofit.

Active in the business and local community, Clarke is a managed care and public relations committee member of the New Jersey Hospital Association, Executive Board Member of the Monmouth Ocean Development Association, Executive Board Member of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and Chair of Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus’ Flavors of the Jersey Shore Food and Wine event. Clarke received a bachelor of arts/history degree at Loyola College in Baltimore.

Kokes, of Allenwood, is Vice President of Project Planning for The Kokes Organization, a family-owned real estate development firm headquartered in Manchester. The business is known for its 50+ years in home building and specializing in age-restricted master planned communities. Kokes is also Managing Principal of Homestake Capital, LLC, a diversified real estate investment firm providing direct investment and non-tradition lending to real estate developers. He serves on the Board of Directors of Harmony Bank (NASDAQ: HRMB), a NJ-based full-service commercial bank. Kokes serves as First Vice President and Director of the New Jersey Shore Builders Association and Director of the New Jersey Builders Association.

Kokes earned a bachelor of science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL.
