Nala is now safe and warm after a 5 day ordeal of being lost in Cattus Island Park. Nala, a 4 month old Chow - Chow puppy, new to the area bolted out of the house and into the woods when the owners had returned home and opened their front door to enter. After an extensive 5 day search by over 40 people and 3 lost dog search & rescue groups Nala was finally trapped and reunited with her owners. Over 700 shares from the Lost Dog Search & Rescue Group on their Facebook page " Lost Dogs in Ocean County" (https://www.facebook.com/group/LostDogsinOceanCounty/) prompted dog lovers from all over to help them in their search for Nala which ended up successful after a trap was placed by Barbara Schrank and Sue Voss in the red trail in the park where Nala was seen several times. A huge Thank You goes out to all the people that shared the post, to those that went out and searched and to the workers and supervisors at Cattus Island Park for all their patience and help in finding Nala, Without this joint effort Nalas safe return might not have been possible
