Ocean County Artists Guild Celebrates the Holiday Season
The Ocean County Artists Guild is pleased to announce its participation in three festive events on December 2, 2023.


The Ocean County Artists Guild, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts in Ocean County, is pleased to announce its participation in three festive events on December 2, 2023.
The first event is the Ocean County Artists’ Guild’s Kris Kringle Kraft Fair and Holiday Boutique which takes place at 22 Chestnut Avenue, Island Heights on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fair will feature arts and crafts vendors, holiday kids crafts activities, and a visit and photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Admission is free and donations are welcome.
The second event is the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Ocean County Artists Guild's Community Mural, which will take place at 11 a.m. outside on the grounds of the Guild. The mural, titled "We Grow Artists", was created by local artists, Guild members, and the local community and friends of the Guild. The ceremony will include remarks by the Ocean County Artists Guild President and mural coordinator, Kim Cesaretti. Honored guests include the Mayor of Island Heights and representatives from the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission, who provided the funds for the creation of the mural with the award of a local arts grant. This event is also free and open to the public.

The third event, running concurrently with the Kris Kringle Kraft Fair, is the Island Heights United Methodist Church Holiday House Tour. Appearing on the tour are six holiday-dressed homes in Island Heights, including the Ocean County Artists’ Guild. Island Heights, an historic riverside community and former Methodist Camp Meeting Ground, is known for its Victorian architecture. The Ocean County Artists’ Guild, located a block from the Toms River will display its members' artworks in their three beautiful galleries. Tickets to the tour are $25 and can be purchased at the Guild, at the church at 111 Ocean Avenue, Island Heights or at their website https://www.ihumc.org/.
The Ocean County Artists Guild invites the public to join them in celebrating the holiday season and supporting the local arts community. In 2024, the Guild will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in the beautiful Victorian mansion at 22 Chestnut Avenue, Island Heights, NJ 08732.
