Ocean County Man Gets 5 Years In Sexual Misconduct With 11-Year-Olds

The incidents occurred in the summer of 2013 in Toms River, prosecutor's office says

An Ocean County man has been sentenced to concurrent five-year prison terms after his guilty plea to inappropriate sexual conduct with two 11-year-olds in Toms River.

David Jusino, 23, of Lakewood was sentenced by Judge Rochelle Gizinski, to a total of 5 years in New Jersey state prison, concurrent to 5 years with a no early release stipulation and parole supervision for life. Jusino also must register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law, and has been ordered to not have contacts with his victims, according to Al Della Fave, spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

Jusino had pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual assault in the incidents, which occurred in the summer of 2013, Della Fave said.

Jusino was evalulated at Avenel and found to not be a repetitive and compulsive offender, Della Fave said.

The victims and their families were present in court for the sentencing with support from Victim Witness Advocate Debra Giordano of the prosecutor’s office.

The case was investigated by Detective Lindsay Woodfield of the prosecutor’s office’s Special Victims Unit. Senior Assistant Prosecutor Terry Ann Linardakis prosecuted the case, he said.
