The Toms River based mens accapella chorus, The Oceanaires, kicked off its annual Community Christmas Tour on Saturday Dec. 3rd, with a well received performance at the Ocean County Artists Guild at Island Heights Toms River.
This unique annual tour brings the enjoyment of Christmas songs to a variety of venues with a special focus on continuing care and assisted living communities in the greater Toms River area.
After their lead off performance at the Island Heights Artists Guild the Chorus will perform at the Friends House Adult Day Care in Toms River on December 7, The Crestwood Village VII in Whiting on Dec. 9, Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living and Green Acres Manor in Lakewood on Dec. 10, Crystal Lake Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Bayville on Dec. 13, Toms River Elks Festival of Trees Toms River on Dec.15, and the Atlantic Coast Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Lakewood on Dec. 17.

The Chorus which will be celebrating its 60th anniversary next year has made this tour a regular and important part of the its annual schedule. The performances are provided “pro bono” as part of the Oceanaires efforts to help spread the joy of
the Christmas Season to a cross section of Ocean County residents.
