Paving Work Set For Oak Ridge Parkway In Toms River
Veolia, the water company, said the paving is the final step in its water main replacement in that area of Toms River.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Paving is scheduled to begin Wednesday on Oak Ridge Parkway as Veolia finishes its work on a water main replacement that started earlier this year, the company said.
The work is scheduled dependent on the weather. Crews are set to mill the road on Wednesday and do the final paving on Thursday, the company said.
The work will be done on Oak Ridge Parkway from Route 37 to Sands Point Drive, along with the intersection of Oak Ridge Parkway and Cardinal Drive.

"As a result, access to Oak Ridge Parkway from Route 37 Westbound will have a temporary closure with detour to Cardinal Drive until the work is completed," the company said.
Traffic on Oak Ridge Parkway traveling south to Route 37 will have lane shifts during the project, and there will be "No Parking" signs will be posted in designated areas prior to the project, the company said.
