Pint-Sized Patriotism

Children from The Goddard School located on Route 70 in Toms River, NJ will show off their stars and stripes by singing the National Anthem at the Lakewood Blue Claws Game on Sunday, May 22.
The 50 + children, ages 2 to 8 , have been practicing The Star-Spangled Banner for weeks and are excited to perform the song in front of a live audience.
“Teaching the children our National Anthem provides us the opportunity to teach them not just the song but also about good citizenship and what our Country stands for,” says Alisa Khaitan, on-site owner of The Goddard School located on Route 70 in Toms River. “It’s such a treat for everyone involved – the children sing from their hearts, and parents and community members just love seeing them perform.”
