Recycle Christmas Trees At Ocean County's Parks
You can drop your tree off at several of the county's parks. They are turned into wood chips used for landscaping county facilities.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you're already thinking about the process of taking down your Christmas tree and are trying to decide what to do with it, Ocean County is urging residents to recycle.
Cut trees can be brought to county-owned parks from now through Jan. 31. The trees are turned into wood chips for landscaping county facilities. They also have been used to help towns build up the dunes on their beaches.
Last year, the Ocean County Parks Department collected almost 1,400 trees, county officials said.
