Reflect on Life’s Meaning and Legacy at the Ocean County Library

TOMS RIVER – Do you ever think about what you will leave behind for loved ones and future generations? The Ocean County Library will host “Legacy Projects: Reflecting on Life’s Meaning and Legacy” at the locations and dates listed below.

·Tuesday, September 29 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Little Egg Harbor Branch – 290 Mathistown Road, 609-294-1197

·Tuesday, September 29 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Long Beach Island Branch – 217 South Central Ave, Surf City, 609-494-2480

This program will introduce a variety of meaningful legacy project ideas. Through guided discussion, reflection, and simple written exercises, participants will explore how personal values, life experiences, memories, and relationships shape the legacy they create.

This supportive and welcoming program encourages conversation, connection, and intentional reflection on life, relationships, and the memories we leave behind. No writing experience is needed.

This program will be presented by Jill McClennen, a Certified Death Doula, end-of-life and grief coach, and trauma-sensitive yoga instructor with over 10 years of experience in creating impactful programs. For the past four years, Jill has led interactive workshops through End of Life Clarity, focusing on essential topics such as death, grief, guided meditation, and relaxation techniques. Through her workshops, Jill creates a safe, supportive space for participants to explore these complex topics.
