Francisco Rosales-Flores is being held at the Ocean County Jail in connection with the incident.

JACKSON, NJ — A Jackson Township man has been arrested in connection with a luring attempt that happened Oct. 30 in Jackson, police said.
Francisco Rosales-Flores, 39, was arrested Thursday, Jackson Capt. Steve Laskiewicz said.
Police acting on a tip went to a home on Citadel Drive in Jackson and were able to identify Rosales Flores as the man who approached a 13-year-old girl in a white GMC Yukon on Oct. 30 as she walked down Pitney Lane, just off Cooks Bridge Road in Jackson.

The girl told police she was walking on Pitney Lane when the driver, who was alone in the vehicle, said something to her, and then slowed down, Laskiewicz said. The girl then used her cell phone to video record the Yukon, which began to back up toward her.

He then asked the girl, "Are you cold? I can give you a ride. Get in my car," she told police. She ran to the nearest home on Danielle Court, and the man drove off toward East Veterans Highway, Laskiewicz said.
"During the investigation, it was also confirmed that the license plate which was on the vehicle was not valid and did not come back to any registered vehicles," Laskiewicz said.
Jackson police thanked New Jersey State Police for their assistance, as well as concerned residents who contacted police with tips following the initial report about the luring attempt.
Rosales-Flores has been charged with second-degree luring and is being held at the Ocean County Jail pending additional court action.
