Seaside Heights Announces Annual Easter Egg Hunt

They will have areas for tots under age 2 to kids up to age 10, plus a challenger area.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — It's that weekend the kids have been waiting for: the annual Palm Sunday Easter Egg Hunt.

The Easter egg hunt is next Sunday, April 9, beginninug at 1 p.m. on the beach, officials announced.

The egg hunt is open to kids up to age 10, and there are different areas for different age groups.

  • Children who are age 2 or younger should report to Hancock Avenue
  • Children ages 3 to 4 should report to Blaine Avenue
  • Ages 5 to 6 should report to Sumner Avenue
  • Ages 7 to 8 report to Hamilton Avenue
  • Ages 9 to 10 report to Lincoln Avenue.

Additionally, there will be a challenger area at Franklin Avenue for children with special needs, officials said.

There will be 15,000 eggs to find, with prizes that include free ride tickets, skeeball games and food and is free for the children.

Officials reminded that paid parking meters resume operation in the borough this weekend.

In addition, Casino Pier has its Easter weekend ticket sale scheduled for April 14-16 on site and April 13-17 online.
