Seaside Park Hiker's Body Found In Utah Mountains
Norman Applegate had gone out for a day hike on Sept. 26 and had never returned, a county sheriff in Utah said.

BOULDER, UTAH — The body of a Seaside Park man who had gone missing while hiking in Utah in September has been found, a month after he disappeared, authorities said.
Norman Everett Applegate Jr., 72, was found near Boulder, which is in Garfield County in southern Utah. The Garfield County sheriff's office reported he was found on Tuesday, and his body was recovered by a search-and-rescue team on Wednesday.
Applegate had gone hiking on Sept. 26 on what was supposed to be a day trip, officials said.

Boulder, Utah, is in an expanse of canyons and forest north of the Arizona border.
The Garfield County sheriff's office said the cause of his death remains under investigation but it is not believed to be suspicious.
