Still Need A Flu Shot? Ocean County Health Department Dates Remain

The health department is offering flu vaccination clinics through December; COVID-19 vaccinations are available as well.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you are still looking to get a flu shot, the Ocean County Health Department has a few more flu vaccination clinics remaining in December.

The vaccination clinics offer flu shots and COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters, including the new Pfizer and Moderna bivalent booster for the COVID-19 vaccines.

The updated booster dose is a bivalent formula that both boosts immunity against the original coronavirus strain and also protects against the newer omicron variants that account for most of the current cases.
