Storm Floods Roads Throughout Toms River
The deluge that hit Toms River about 4:30 p.m. left roads throughout the town under water.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Strong storms that deluged Ocean County on Thursday flooded roads throughout the area, including Route 37 in Toms River.
Video and photos posted to social media showed roads that were inundated with water. Portions of Route 166, Route 37 and Brookside Drive all were under water.
Flooding also shut down Irons Street in downtown Toms River, where flooding is a consistent problem from the Toms River following heavy rains.
