TOMS RIVER, NJ— Welcome to the Aug. 22 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight events coming up during the week in the Toms River area.

The calendar is fairly quiet this week in Toms River, with the Township Council meeting, set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, the only significant town meeting scheduled. The agenda for the meeting had not been published as of Sunday.

If you're looking for fun events to close out the summer, there's a concert at the Ocean County Library on Monday evening. Dakota and Elle, who are a classically trained tenor and soprano duo singing Broadway, classical, and contemporary hits, are scheduled to perform at 6:30 p.m. at the library, 101 Washington St. Register here to attend the concert, which is free.
