Taste of the Fall Harvest set for October 6th
Mark your calendars for this celebration of fall, with wine, autumn brew, and local cuisine to benefit CVCJ!

Leap into Fall, but don’t put on your “woolies” just yet! Plan now to come to the Taste of Fall Harvest event on October 6th at the Toms River Country Club, 419 Washington St. Toms River, and celebrate the season with a delightful sampling of wine, autumn brew, and local cuisine fresh from the fall harvest benefiting Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ). The evening will include dancing to Ed Goldberg and the Odessa Oom-Pa Band Trio, sponsored by Brandywine Senior Living, Toms River, and a gift auction that includes a one-week stay in an oceanfront villa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Chefs and restaurants from the area, including Three B’s Bar & Bistro, Lakehurst, and Toms River based Brooklyn Bistro, Canedas Empanadas, Daddy O’s Grill, Mean Bean Burrito, Oda House Jersey will present their culinary fall-themed delights for unlimited food sampling. To quench your thirst, sparkling wines and autumn brew will be provided by Maroon Winery, Napa Valley and Rinn Duin Brewery. Luscious desserts from Mandoli’s Bakery, Toms River and a over-flowing Chocolate Fountain from DREAMS of Belleville will put a perfect exclamation point on the evening.

Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey is a nonprofit interfaith organization dedicated to providing supportive services to the frail elderly, veterans and homebound, enabling them to live independently in their own homes since 1992. CVCJ provides services to 23 municipalities in Ocean County as well as to Freehold, Farmingdale and Howell Townships in Monmouth County.
CVCJ Services include transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, friendly visits reassuring phone calls, and Caregiver Canines® Pet Visitation, to reduce social isolation.
