Toms River Eagle Scout Chooses Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund’s K9 Sgt. Denny Project
Eagle Scout helps support charity to aid Military Working Dogs

TOMS RIVER, N.J., December 15, 2016 – Shane Harrigfeld of Toms River is busy working on his Eagle Scout Project. Shane has selected the Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund – K9 Sgt. Denny Project for this project.
Harrigfeld will be busy this holiday season. He has decorated a holiday tree, which is on display at the Toms River Elks Festival of Trees. The community is invited to stop by to see all of the trees and are asked to donate money to the tree that they like best. All funds earned will be given to the organization that the tree represents.
Shane has also set up a donation box at the Toms River Township Hall in front of the service wall, requesting items to be placed in the box that will be sent to the Military Working Dogs (MWDs) that are currently serving in Afghanistan. He has also made contact with Nylabone Company in Neptune requesting donations of items that would be sent to the MWDs.

At this time of year when giving is so important, the public is encouraged to stop by to either cast a vote for a holiday tree; drop off an item or two to be sent to Afghanistan for a MWD; or visit Toms River Petco, purchase an item and then donate it at the collection table.
