Toms River Farmers Market Returns For 2018 Wednesday

The farmers market has fresh produce, baked goods and much more.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Downtown Toms River Farmers Market returns for 2018 with lots of vendors offering fresh produce, fresh baked goods and more.

The farmers market is held every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. from May 23 to Nov. 14 (and a special Thanksgiving market on Monday, Nov. 19) on the lawn at the Ocean County Parking Garage on Hadley Avenue. There is free parking in the garage.

On the first Wednesday of the month, celebrate Jersey Fresh Fruit and vegetables! Enter the free raffle to win a basket of Jersey Fresh produce featuring the fruit and vegetable of the month:

Some of the farmers accept vouchers from the Women, Infants, and Children program and Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program. Among the items available: Fruits, vegetables, plants & herbs, fresh baked goods, honey, ravioli, crab cakes, pickles & olives, nuts and candy, olive oils and salts, Cream Ridge Winery, hot dogs, pulled pork, Italian specialties, smoothie truck, Delicious Devil Brownies, coffee, spice mixes, specialty soaps.
