Toms River Halloween Parade Makes Change For Walking Groups
It's time to put away your beach chairs and turn your thoughts to ghouls, goblins and Halloween costumes.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — For those who have put away their beach chairs and are busily planning their Halloween costumes, Toms River Volunteer Fire Company 1 is planning, too, for the 81st Halloween Parade.
The parade is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 31, and the fire company announced there will be a change this year from previous years.
Participants who will be walking in the parade, from Scout troops and nonprofit organizations to families and pets entries, will be staging on Highland Parkway this year. Previously those groups were staged in the Toms River Shopping Center parking lot in front of the businesses.

As a reminder, registration is held the day of the parade only from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the main firehouse at 26 Robbins St.
