WATCH LIVE: Toms River Mayoral Debate
Republican Maurice "Mo" Hill and Democrat Jonathan Petro will face off Thursday, and you can ask questions.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — With less than two weeks to go to the Nov. 5 election, the campaign for Toms River mayor has been heating up, with Republican Maurice "Mo" Hill and Democrat Jonathan Petro trading barbs, claims and counterclaims of malfeasance.
The primary battleground, of course, has been concerns about overdevelopment. But there are plenty of other concerns Toms River residents have about the future of the town.
At 6 p.m., Hill and Petro face off in a live, televised debate, hosted by the Hudson Media Group. It will be televised on Comcast channel 190. If you don't have Comcast, watch it on the Hudson Media Group Facebook page. Click on their live Facebook broadcast to join in and ask questions.
