Toms River Pros Vs Heroes Football Game Update!

The free event has been pushed to Thursday due Tuesday's forecast; Taylor Swift tickets will be given away at the game.

SEASIDE PARK, NJ — Two months after relentless rain forced organizers to postpone the annual flag football battle on the beach between Toms River's finest and professional athletes, the game is back on the calendar.

The Pros vs. Heroes flag football game to benefit the Toms River Police Foundation now is scheduled for Thursday, July 19, with a 7 p.m. start. (The game had been scheduled for Tuesday but organizers moved it to Thursday due to thunderstorms in Tuesday's forecast.)

The game is presented by the Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation, and Townsquare Media and Downs Ford are sponsors.
