TOMS RIVER, NJ — Now that school is back in session in New Jersey, every parent wonders when their children will receive report cards. Or you might be wondering exactly when you'll have them home for winter break.
School districts in New Jersey are required to be in session for 180 days. The Toms River Regional School district calendar has 183 days scheduled, with three of those dates as buffers for emergency closings. If those days are not used up, school days will be trimmed from the end of the school year.
