UPDATE: Toms River Schools Closed Thursday, March 22
Officials made the decision Wednesday evening after originally calling for a delay.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Regional School District will be closed Thursday, March 22, district officials announced Wednesday night.
The district originally planned to have a 90-minute delayed opening, but deteriorating weather conditions led to the decision to close schools,
St. Joseph Grammar School and Donovan Catholic High School are closed as well but Donovan students will have a virtual school day and should check the school's website.
