Toms River Schools Cancel After-School Activities

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Regional School District has canceled all after-school and evening activities for Monday due to the nor'easter moving up the New Jersey coast.

The cancellations include all club meetings, sports practices and athletic events.

Winds gusting to as much as 60 mph in some areas and concerns about coastal flooding with the high tide expected between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. led to the decision.
