Toms River Star Frazier To Start Major League All-Star Game

Fan voting gave him the start in the game, which is July 14.

Todd Frazier, the former Toms River High School South baseball star, will be the starting third baseman for the National League in the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

The Cincinnati Reds star who not only starred at Toms River South and Rutgers, but made a name for himself as an all-star Little Leaguer, received the starting nod thanks to fan voting, according to a report in the Asbury Park Press.

The All-Star game is July 14 in Cincinnati, meaning Frazier will get to start in his home ballpark.
