Toms River Ticket Wins $10K MegaMillions Prize

If you bought your tickets in Toms River, better check your numbers.

TRENTON, NJ — It's not the biggest prize,but someone in Ocean County is a holding a lottery ticket worth $10,000 following Tuesday night's MegaMillions drawing.

New Jersey Lottery officials said there were seven $10,000-winning tickets in the Oct. 16, 2018 drawing. One of them was sold at 7-Eleven #11017, 260 Route 37 west in Toms River.

No one won the jackpot, so the total on that has now climbed to nearly $900 million.

The tickets that won the $10,000 prize matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn. The winning numbers for the Tuesday, Oct. 16 drawing were: 03, 45, 49, 61 and 69. The Gold Mega Ball was 09, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05. Two of the $10,000 tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option and are worth $50,000, lottery officials said.

A $1 million winning ticket was purchased in Morris County, officials said.

The other $10,000 ticket locations (for those of you who commute):

  • Camden County ($50,000): Friendly Food Mart, 1119 North Blackhorse Pike, Blackwood;
  • Union County ($50,000): 7-Eleven #39571, 1174 Morris Ave., Union;
  • Essex County ($10,000): The Twin Deli Grocery, 185 North Park St., East Orange;
  • Hudson County ($10,000): Prime Place Convenience, 514 1st Street Unit #1, Hoboken;
  • Mercer County ($10,000): Corner Express, 5 Lawrenceville Pennington Rd., Lawrenceville;
  • Monmouth County ($10,000): Laurel Market, 257 Laurel Ave., West Keansburg.
